Show dates of existing milk records on a list for later retrieval
It would be nice to see a list of dates that you have milk records on file, and be able to see all records for that day.

Please add the option with The Miniature Goat Registry for NOA
I am unable to add a goat as registered as native of appearance with The Miniature Goat Registry into the records as your software isn't set up to have letters at the end of the registration number. I am getting error messages when I try to add this to my goats profile. My goat's registration is DA027NOA and it is not allowing me to add it.

User Forum
Add a tab/link to a simple user forum to share ideas and thoughts between seasoned and unseasoned owners. Could have simple rules/regulations..could start out user moderated. In other words (use at your own risk not to replace vet advice etc...be kind.)
When you all get big enough to have your own moderator or if you develop a volunteer that would like to moderate the page then viola! But it would be nice to have something all in one place.

Allow user to have groups and subgroups in the Herd Views section
For example, I could have my doe group and a kid group. It could also be expanded into say; kidded group / not kidded, to sell / to keep, three year olds / 2 year olds, etc.

Allow user to create custom workflows (protocols)
Protocols are user-defined sets of follow up tasks that are triggered by an event added to the system. Protocols allow the individual breeder to create workflows that are meaningful to their herds.
An example of a simple protocol would be "When I add a Breeding event, remind me to:
- perform a pregnancy test X days after the breeding date."
An example of a more complex protocol would be "When I have confirmed a doe's pregnancy, remind me to:
- Dry her off X days before her due date
- Administer {vaccination} X days before her due date
- Clip her udder X days…

Health Reports
I would like to be able to print out a health record for an animal I am selling so the new owner has documentation of vaccinations, wormings and testings.

Notify me when my animal can be bred, based on last kidding date
For animals that do not have a current-season estrus record, notify when the animal is eligible for breeding based on the last kidding date.
Provide report on all animals that are eligible to be bred, will soon be eligible to be bred.
The number of days after kidding to notified that the animal is eligible for kidding will be a user preference setting.

Add visual graphs and charts
It would awesome to see milk production per doe compared to others as we progress through the season. A quick graph would help us clearly identify producers and slackers.

Teat structure is a hot topic among meat goat (boer) breeders and many find it particularly important to track so that they can improve their herds.

Calculate next estrus cycle projected start date
It would be helpful for planning natural breedings, if when you entered an estrus cycle, the platform automatically calculated the next estrus cycle, and then if you were able to make a report from that information, you would know which does to plan to put in with the bucks on a given date.
Question: Would you want to have a user preference so you could set the number of days for calculating the next projected estrus start date?

Add a Calendar to Dashboard
A planner type calendar that would give a snapshot of events each month i.e. based on history, when a doe is due to cycle again - especially after being bred to catch any that didnt take the first time; kidding dates, vaccinations due, etc. and be able to set reminders

Support additional data required for Artificial Insemination
The following updates are suggested to support the additional information associated with AI breedings:
Updates to Estrus tracking:
1. start date/time and end date/time
2. calculation of duration
3. Notes field
4. vaginal checks for mucous consistency (sub entries throughout cycle)... could be used to indicate ideal and follow up breeding times (X hrs into cycle), send text message/email reminder X hours ahead.Updates to Add/Edit Breeding:
1. Estrus selector pop-up on add breeding, so Estrus cycles can be linked to associated breedings, and exposure (time/hours after start) can be calculated based on estrus start time.

Progeny list - Adding Non Herd Animals to progeny list
Phase 2 will allow for adding non-herd animals to the progeny list.

access the database when updating pending registrations or adding new registrations
Right now, a kid can be listed as "pending" or pedigree can be left blank, or a new goat can enter the herd before the papers are in hand (but not yet recorded). In order to add the registration number for a currently existing record, it must be done manually, instead of asking for database access ("community data"), as is done when creating the folder.

Create and save custom reports
Add the ability for the user to build and save their own custom reports. This would be especially helpful when wanting to combine the information that appears in different modules.
