Editing a pedigree and information on a pedigree animal
Pedigrees imported via the Community Data lookup can be edited using the same steps defined below. This is especially helpful as occasionally there can be errors or omissions in the information provided by our data sources, and you need to be able to correct them.
Update or add new information for the pedigree animal
Once the animal has been added to the pedigree, click on its name to update its Profile information. Once you've made the desired updates, click the Save button at the bottom of the pop-up form. The pedigree will immediately reflect any updates to the pedigree display.

Remove an animal from the pedigree
To remove an animal from a pedigree, click the red "remove" icon. When an animal has been removed from a pedigree, all of its linked ancestors will also be removed from the pedigree:
