Deleting a duplicate animal Folder
However, we know that are some situations that do call for a delete action, such as when two Folders are accidentally added for the same animal. This is a rare occurrence due to the checks we have added to the Add Animal function.
However, If you do find you do have two Folders for a single animal, we can delete one of them for you.
To have a Folder deleted, go to the record of the animal you want to delete (any of the pages in the animal's folder will do) and copy the URL and send it to us at support@easykeeper.com, with a request to delete the referenced animal.
Here's an example of what the URL would look like if you captured it from the animal's snapshot page:
IMPORTANT NOTE: When an animal's Folder is deleted, all records and associations with that specific animal Folder will also deleted; meaning if the deleted animal is referenced in a pedigree, that reference will be removed. This action is irreversible.
Please ensure all records and associations you want to retain for the animal are added to the Folder that you will be keeping prior to requesting the duplicate Folder be deleted.
