Adding the Result of a Test in "pending results" status
This article describes how to add the result of a test when the collection of the sample has already been entered into the system, and the Result is indicated as "pending".
Step 1:
From the animal's Health Page Pending Tests section, click on the green Record Test Result checkmark icon associated with the Test.
Step 2:
The Edit Event page displays with all the information previously entered into Test record displayed. Indicate the test Result by selecting a value from the drop down, or enter your own by selecting the "Other..." option at the bottom of the list.
Step 3:
Save the update to the Test event by clicking the orange Save button at the bottom of the form. Once you have saved the entry the following will occur:
- The animal's Health page will display, with the Test will be removed from the Pending Tests section.
- If you have added a new Result, it will start displaying in the suggestions or drop down when adding events in the future.
- The addition of the test's Result will not affect the display or scheduling of any future reminders associated with the Test activity.
