Adding "pending" status Registrations
The "pending" registration status indicates that the animal is in the process of receiving its registration number. You can add any number of pending Registrations to the animal's Profile during the Add Animal action, or by editing the Profile page. A natural time to do this is when you've submitted the animal's registration application to your breed registry.
An animal can have a mix of issued and pending Registrations in the Registration/Id #s list.
These instructions assume that:
- your are adding a pending registration to an animal that has already been added to your herd; or,
- you are adding an animal using the Add Registered Animal function and you are adding an additional Registration that is in "pending" status.
Adding a "pending" registration
Step 1: Click Add another registration/id # link on the Add Animal form or Edit on the animal's Profile page:
Step 2: Complete the Registration information:
a. Check the "Registration Pending" check box
b. Select the applicable Registry/Organization
Step 3: Click the Add Registration button on the form:
Step 4: If you are adding the Registration from the Edit Profile page, click the Save button at the bottom of the form:
