Adding Registrations and selecting the Primary Registration
The animal's registration number and the registering association or organization are referred to as a "Registration".
An animal can have any number of Registrations, with one selected as the "Primary" Registration.
Registrations can be added to an animal's Profile page during the Add Animal action, or by editing the animal's Profile page. You can add registration numbers to any animal, even if it was originally added as an unregistered animal.
Adding a registration
Step 1: Click Add another registration/id # link on the Add Animal form or Edit on the animal's Profile page:
Step 2: The Add Registration form will appear within the Add Animal or Edit Profile form; Enter Registration information:
a. Enter Registration/Id #
b. Select issuing Registry from drop down
c. Click Add Registration:
Step 3: If you are adding the Registration from the Edit Profile page, click "Save" at the bottom of the form:
Indicating the Primary Registration
The primary registration displays on items such as the management interface's navigational elements, reports, lists, task sheets, and marketing materials. The first Registration entered will be automatically marked as the primary registration. You may change it during the Add Animal action, or by editing the animal's Profile page.
Step 1: After you have added two or more Registrations to the animal's record, select the Primary Registration by clicking on the radio button associated with the Registration:
